Consumed Consumer

Installation, Sculpture: Ceramic busts, spray paint, phones,

video (52 seconds each), electrical plugs, folding chairs.

The busts stand in more as empty vessels; hollow and concave containers used to hold some material, along with figuratively standing for a person viewed as a beholder or receiver of some non-material object.

These figures have come together to share their experience with you, the viewers, through their devices.

The wind is a common theme found throughout my video art to symbolize both the invisible passing of time and the power of the invisible flowing audio when making contact to some object. I find this parallels the transparency of our daily lives that only becomes noticed when something impales and stirs up human emotion.
